Safety
You have to be 18 or older to send a PetAlert. A minor cannot publish one.
When you sell an item, meet about a pet, or follow up on a sighting:
- Meet in a public place, in daylight if you can.
- Tell someone where you are going, and don’t go alone.
- Don’t put your home address in the first message.
- Don’t send money before you have the pet or the item in front of you.
- You pay the other person, not My Pets Life.
A missing alert helps neighbors look. It does not replace calling local authorities.
If something feels like a scam, use Report. It stays up until it is reviewed. You can also write safety@mypetslife.pet.
